About
Chris Liebig
Professional Downhill & Dual Slalom Racer • Havre de Grace, MD
Background
Chris Liebig is a professional downhill and dual slalom mountain bike racer representing Maryland on the national and international stage. At 17 years old, he competes across multiple elite series including the UCI Junior World Cup, iXS Downhill Cup, Downhill Southeast, and Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series.
With 79 career races spanning nine seasons, Chris has built a competitive resume that includes three consecutive Pro Dual Slalom titles, back-to-back US Open Dual Slalom victories, a Pro DH win at Massanutten, and international experience racing in Europe at venues including Leogang (Austria), Spicak (Czech Republic), and Ilmenau (Germany).
Chris balances a full academic schedule at Harford Technical High School with year-round training and a demanding race calendar. His racing roots trace back to age 2, beginning with BMX competition before transitioning to gravity mountain biking at age 8. This foundation in gate starts, technical handling, and race craft continues to inform his approach to downhill and dual slalom disciplines.
Actively pursuing new sponsorship partnerships for 2026, Chris offers brands visibility across US and European events, authentic social media presence, and a professional approach to athlete representation.
